Paul Carr: "You have less than two hours to send Yasha Levine back to Russia, where he belongs"

Pando editor Paul Carr:

A few weeks back, Pando’s Yasha Levine launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a book based on his Surveillance Valley reporting. The book will reveal how tech giants have created an unimaginably complex and sinister surveillance network that makes the NSA look like also-rans.

With help from Pando readers, the book smashed its funding goal a few days ago and now is just $1500 from beating its stretch goal. If Yasha beats that goal he’ll add a bonus chapter in which he’ll return to Russia to explore how tech companies in that country monitor their users, but also why NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden has made that country his home.

The only catch is that the campaign only less than two hours to go. Less than two hours to raise the additional $1500 in pledges required for him to write the bonus Russia chapter.

If you were planning to support the campaign by haven’t done so yet, now is your last chance. If this is the first you’ve heard of it, you still have time!

The campaign page is here. Let’s send Yasha back to where he (and his journalism) belongs!

Thanks Paul!
